Android 4.0 SDK Available To Download

As you all know, Android 4.0 is a major platform release that adds a variety of new features for users and app developers. Besides all the new features and APIs discussed below, Android 4.0 is an important platform release because it brings the extensive set of APIs and Holographic themes from Android 3.x to smaller screens. As an app developer, you now have a single platform and unified API framework that enables you to develop and publish your application with a single APK that provides an optimized user experience for handsets, tablets, and more, when running the same version of Android—Android 4.0 (API level 14) or greater.

The Android 4.0 platform is available as a downloadable component for the Android SDK so you can begin developing and testing your applications on Android 4.0 with the Android emulator. The downloadable platform includes an Android library and system image, as well as a set of emulator skins and more. The downloadable platform does not include any external libraries.
To start developing or testing against Android 4.0, use the Android SDK Manager to download the platform into your SDK. For more information, see Adding SDK Components.

Soon, PCs will understand what you feel...

Yes, Its a very popular news coming about that in Washington State, Researchers are preparing for inputs directly from humans, without any device Just like VIVO (Voice In, Voice Out)...
See what they say--
WASHINGTON: A Binghamton University researcher wants computers to understand inputs from humans that go beyond the traditional keyboard and mouse.

Lijun Yin and team have developed ways to provide information to the computer based on where a user is looking as well as through gestures or speech.

Yin says the next step would be enabling the computer to recognize a user's emotional state.
"Computers only understand zeroes and ones. Everything is about patterns. We want to find out how to recognize each emotion using only the most important features," said Yin.

Yin is also considering use of photographs, and even three-dimensional avatars that are able to display a range of emotions.
"We want not only to create a virtual-person model, we want to understand a real person's emotions and feelings. We want the computer to be able to understand how you feel, too. That's hard, even harder than my other work," said Yin.
"This technology could help us to train the computer to do facial-recognition analysis in place of experts," added Yin.
Just see what happens...

Death Of Steve Jobs....

Its very bad to say but Steve Jobs has died...

Steve Jobs, co-founder of computer and software giant Apple Computers, Inc., and until recently its CEO, has died at the age of 56, according to reports from Apple.

After a troubling diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in 2003 followed by a liver transplant in 2009, reports surfaced earlier this year that Jobs was suffering from a recurrence of his cancer. This time out, Jobs was hit with a much rarer form of pancreatic cancer known as islet cell carcinoma, difficult to cure if in late phases.

After Apple went public in 1980, Jobs became and maintained status as one of the technology sector’s leading celebrities, taking the stage year after year and dazzling consumers with Apple’s vast array of computing and entertainment-related products and services, including iPods, iPads, Macs and sites such as iTunes.

Apple has posted this statement on its website:
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences, please email rememberingsteve@apple.com

We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.
Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.

Download Torrents Without Any Client

UPDATE: Sorry, but Torrific is discontinued.

Hey, I am back... Actually with a very interesting thing...
You heard it right, there is a site named TORRIFIC ...

1. Firstly, make a account there... Using only your E-mail and a Password. Feed it a link to a torrent and it does all of the P2P wizardry automatically, downloads the file and prepares it for you to grab off their servers via HTTP.

2. First, the user interface is Google-simple. You have an account link at the top, and a box in the center where you enter a URL or keyword. You can search by keyword, browse a website by proxy or paste in a direct link to a .torrent file.

3. After you’ve chosen a torrent, the next screen you see will be a summary of the torrent’s contents. Once the download from the swarm is complete, you can be alerted by email, and then you may download torrent files individually, or download a single compressed ZIP of all the files packed together.

To view the torrents currently in your download queue, hit the Home page and you’ll be presented with a list of your torrents and their progress....
